Poggio Rosso chose this name for its youngest wine, which expresses the specific qualities of the region in the most direct and harmonious way.

80% Merlot

12 months in barrique
12 months in the bottle

Tasting notes:
It is our most distinctive Sangiovese-based wine, with a very fresh entry of very elegant red fruits and violet notes. Its freshness and aromatic clarity are also found on the palate, where we find a very dense and pleasant tannin. 
Retronasally, very elegant fruity notes can still be perceived.

Serving temperature:
Serve at a temperature of 18°C.
