As a nation of traders and connoisseurs of the good life, the Etruscans were the first to recognise that this area had the potential to produce the ever-appreciated ambrosia known as wine, which is why their name for the city was Fufluna after Fufluns, the Etruscan god of wine and drunkenness.

Poggio Rosso wanted its youngest and most straightforward wine to bear the ancient name of its local town, Populonia! Fufluna is a red wine characterized by a strong bouquet that is fruity, fresh, lively and enticing.
